Technical Business Developer

Technical Business Developer (m / f / d) – Battery

The position and responsibilities:
  • As a young professional, you will work closely with other technical business developers.
  • You act together as a mediator between the commercial and technical part and support the team with your know-how.
  • You evaluate the impact on the automotive industry and derive concrete business cases from this.
  • You will report directly to the senior manager of the department alongside other team members.
  • The main task will be to drive business development and to act as an interface between technical construction and project planning, both internally and at the customer's site.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a bachelor's/master's degree or have completed relevant professional training. Emphasis on engineering sciences or technologies.
  • You can look back on one to two years in business development with a focus on sales of technical products and solutions.
  • You bring initial experience in technical design in relation to EV, HEV, FC, IoT and AI.
  • Business fluent English and German skills are mandatory.
  • Desirable are basic to advanced knowledge of the Japanese language and/or culture.
  • Willingness to travel to customers / trade fairs within Germany and Europe (approx. 30%) is to be expected.
Personal qualities:
  • You have very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You love to work independently and in a team.
  • You work in a structured manner, are well organized and meet targets. Even with several projects, you can keep an overview and set priorities.
